RescueRigger -- Missing Gear?

Please follow these steps if not all of the gear is available in RescueRigger. Contact us if these instructions fail to resolve the problem.

1   From RescueRigger's menu bar, choose Tools, Options, and click the Gear Panel tab. The bottom of this dialog should say something similar to, "277 pieces of gear are listed out of 277 possible." If the second number is less than 229 (which is the number of items included with the basic RescueRigger program) or 277 (which is the number of items included when you purchase support for the additional industries), please continue with these instructions.

2   Choose Help and then About from RescueRigger's menu bar. Check the program version number and program revision date. Compare these to the version number and date on the History page. If you do not have the most recent version of RescueRigger, choose Help, Check for Updates, and then Check for Program Updates to download and install the latest version. You can also manually download the latest program.

3   Choose Help and then About from RescueRigger's menu bar. Check the gear revision date. Compare this to the gear revision date on the Gear History page. If you do not have the most recent gear, choose Help, Check for Updates, and then Check for Gear Updates to download and install the latest gear. You can also manually download the most recent gear.

4    Choose Licensing and Industries from RescueRigger's Help menu. The checkboxes in the Licensed Industries dialog should be enabled (i.e., not gray) for the industries you have licensed. (You can purchase support for additional industries here.)

If some of the checkboxes for industries that you have purchased are not enabled, click the Enter License Key button and reenter your license key. If the boxes remain disabled (i.e., gray), please jump to Step 9.

  5

With the Licensed Industries dialog still displayed (Step 4), make sure all of the industry checkboxes that are enabled (i.e., not grayed) contain checkmarks. Then click the OK button to exit the dialog.

6   Now repeat Step 1 to see if the number of pieces of gear "possible" is correct. Continue with these instructions if it is incorrect.

7   Click here and follow the instructions to reinstall the gear. Be sure to follow the "optional step" and delete the existing gear from C:\Program Files\Iterum\RescueRigger\Addins.

8   Restart RescueRigger. When a dialog is displayed mentioning that new gear is available, choose Import Now. (If this dialog is not displayed when you restart RescueRigger, repeat Step 7 making sure you install the new gear in the same folder as the RescueRigger.exe program.)

9   If you have followed these steps and the number of pieces of gear (Step 1) is still incorrect, please contact us telling us:

A   The number of files in the C:\Program Files\Iterum\RescueRigger\Addins folder.
B   The number of pieces of gear "listed" and "available" (as shown at the bottom of the Gear Panel tab in the Options dialog and as explained in Step 1).
C   The license key you entered in Step 4.
D   The rigging checkboxes that are enabled (i.e., not grayed) in the Licensed Industries dialog (Step 4).
