Elegant interface
vRigger features a modern interface
that is similar to the interface found in Microsoft
Office®. The "ribbon" at the top of
the screen groups common tasks into easy-to-locate panels.

Floating "gear
panes" contain hundreds
of pieces of gear. To add gear to
your rigging system, you simply drag
gear from a gear pane and drop it on
the screen. (Watch videos about
adding gear or
customizing the gear panes.)

connects. Sound effects
add an auditory experience
to your virtual workspace.

Flexible Rope and
Webbing
You can use your mouse
to grab any point on
a rope and then drop
it on gear to "attach"
it to the rope. When
you rearrange gear,
the rope automatically
remains connected to
the gear. |

vRigger calculates the forces
in your systems. The force calculations
include mechanical advantage,
friction, breaking strength,

In addition to the 305
pieces of gear that are available
in vRigger, you can use the
Gear Builder to add your
own. To create your own gear,
you will need to create the
gear images using graphic editing
software, such as
Photoshop,
and store the images as bitmap
files. |

on gear, a menu containing
commands relevant to
that item is displayed.
After clicking
on the gear, pick
a command. It's that
